The apricots grown in the Prunotto farm in Alba are processed after a few hours, and cooked without adding sugar but only a small amount of fructose to obtain a completely natural compote and with the true flavor of fresh fruit in compliance with the Piedmontese tradition.
The method used is the classic method used since ancient times for the preservation of fruit. The fruit, after being carefully washed and clean, is simply cooked in a pot with the addition of fructose.
