The Prunotto Mariangela farm cultivates the best figs in the Alba areas, which are then harvested in the orchards at the right point of ripeness and processed after a few hours, in order to be cooked with the sole addition of cane sugar. The "open air" processing method is the classic method used since ancient times for the preservation of fruit. In fact, after being carefully cleaned and washed, the fruit is simply cooked in a pot adding only cane sugar.
