The historical and well-established combination of acacia honey and dried fruit is found in nougat, whether crumbly or soft. Traditional dessert throughout Italy, is found in selected parts of Campania, Cremona and Sardinia. We only select the best dried fruit, which is all separated by hand, discarding imperfections. It is then put in jars and filled with great care with very clear and delicate acacia honey. The filling phases take place at cold temperatures so as not to affect the taste of the fruit and honey. The typical composition of piùgoloso is hazelnut, half-grilled walnut, and peeled and whole almond.
