The apples grown and harvested in the Prunotto di Alba farm at the right time are processed a few hours after harvesting, and cooked with the sole addition of cane sugar to obtain a completely natural jam in compliance with the Piedmontese tradition.
The method used is the classic method used since ancient times for the preservation of fruit. Fruit after being carefully washed and clean is simply cooked in a pot with the addition of cane sugar.
It is exceptionnal pairing on freshly baked bread or accompanied with a cheese. This makes for a rich and healthy breakfast or refined snack!
