Sour cherry compote

The sour cherry is a small wild black cherry, dark red in color, bloody juice and a distinctly acid taste when fresh. The resulting compote is soft, homogeneous, of an intense ruby red color. Intense aroma of sour cherry and a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.

Excellent on bread and desserts, for a rich and healthy breakfast.
