Fruit Eau-de-vie “Hollermandl”

Hollermandl is a traditional Tyrolean dish made from cooked black elderberries and sliced pears, often served as an accompaniment to desserts.

Rochelt’s “Hollermandl” is a precious cuvée of fruit brandy made from fine, fruity Williams pears and full‑flavored black elderberries. Grown in the sunny regions of western Styria and Lower Austria, the fruits are harvested only at full ripeness.

After harvesting, the fruits are fermented and distilled separately. Only then are the prized medium cuts blended according to a family’s secret recipe to create this unique cuvée.

Aged for many years, the blend of ripe pears and dark forest fruits results in a natural fruit brandy with delicate and complex flavors, yet still fruity and smooth.
