Made from honey-sweet, delicious apricots. The apricot belongs to the genus Prunus. The apricot comes from northeast China the Romans brought it about 70 BC via Anatolia to Europe. Apricots are mainly cultivated in Mediterranean countries such as Italy and Spain There are also more northerly cultivation areas, such as in the South Tyrolean Vinschgau, from where we obtain our apricots. Apricots have a special nutritional value. The content of calcium and vitamin C is very high.
