Basel Cherry Eau-de-vie

This sweet and prized cherry comes from the Basel region (Switzerland). Heart-shaped, it is juicy, sweet, and highly aromatic.

At harvest time, producers are very careful to select only perfectly healthy and fully ripe fruits. For this cherry variety, a very specific method is applied: to reveal its particularly delicate aromas, the cherry stones are removed even before fermentation. This prevents the kernel notes from overpowering the fruit flavors.

Distilled and matured, this Basel cherry eau-de-vie is characterized by its delicate, aromatic, and clear taste.
