Sugar-free cherry compote

The Prunotto farm from long time cultivate in their orchards in Alba, Langhe and Roero, the cherries.

The cherries are harvested by hand several times in the season to respect the natural aging and to allow them to have a product at the right point of ripening. This yields a naturally sweet, top-quality raw material that is processed a few hours after harvest.

The method of manufacture of jams is the classic method used since ancient times for the preservation of fruit. The fruit, after being carefully washed and clean, is simply cooked in a pot with the addition of fructose.

It is very good pairing on freshly baked bread, with Alpine butter. Thus obtaining a rich and healthy breakfast or refined snack!
