Carnaroli Rice Gran Riserva

Riso Buono Carnaroli Gran Riserva is a rice that is aged for one year in its raw state. This “Aging” process was already known and practiced in ancient times by many populations. In fact, after drying, the rice has not yet acquired all the characteristics of maximum quality. Properly aged and well-preserved rice significantly increases its original volume, which results in less dispersion of starch and minerals during cooking. The grains of our Carnaroli Gran Riserva do not stick together during cooking and hold their texture better, preventing overcooking.
