Wachau Apricot Distillate
The Wachau is one of Austria’s finest wine and fruit-growing regions. Located along the banks of the Danube, its soil and climate provide ideal conditions for cultivating apricots.
Apricot growers patiently wait until the fruits are so ripe that they fall naturally from the tree. Juicy to the core, with a beautiful orange-yellow color and an intense red blush, they are then carefully collected. Only at this stage of ripeness do the apricots offer the right aromatic richness for these exceptional spirits.
Hand-picked, the apricots are selected again the same day before being cleaned and fermented directly on site. Only afterward is the mash safely transported to the distillery.
After distillation, the young spirit evolves over time into a noble distillate, smooth and soft, rich and powerful, with a wide range of ripe apricot aromas. A classic for 25 years!
