Williams Pear Distillate

This Williams pear comes from sunny Western Styria, where it grows under ideal conditions. At the peak of ripeness it ranges in color from light green to lemon yellow and is often slightly reddish when exposed to the sun. During the harvest season, every pear on the tree is checked for ripeness and picked only when it reaches the desired sweet, spicy, and delicately fruity aromas. To achieve this, the pear grower must complete up to 15 harvesting cycles in the orchard.

To preserve all the fruit’s aromas, the freshly harvested ripe pears are always processed directly by the grower.

After the pear mash has been safely transported to the distillery in Fritzens, it is carefully distilled and stored for maturation. The perfect distillate impresses with the fruity aromas of fully ripe Williams pears, presenting itself as strong and powerful, yet at the same time smooth and delicate.
