Fruit Eau-de-vie “Hollermandl”

Hollermandl is a traditional Tyrolean dish made from cooked black elderberries and sliced pears, often served as an accompaniment to desserts.

Rochelt’s “Hollermandl” is a precious cuvée of fine, fruity Williams pear eau-de-vie and full-flavored black elderberries. Grown in the sunny regions of Western Styria and Lower Austria, the fruits are harvested only at full ripeness.

After harvesting, the fruits are fermented and distilled separately. Only then are the precious heart cuts combined according to a secret family recipe to create this unique cuvée.

Aged for many years, the blend of ripe pears and dark berries results in a natural fruit eau-de-vie with delicate and complex yet fruity and smooth flavors.
